Police in Nansana have launched an investigation into a Sudanese family accused of severely beating their domestic worker, resulting in her death. The incident has sparked tension and shock among residents of Nabweru South Cell 1, who witnessed the chaos as police cordoned off the home.

According to residents, the domestic worker was rushed to a nearby clinic but was pronounced dead on arrival. “They brought the girl with a very deep wound on her head, but she had already passed on,” a medical officer at the clinic said.

Police officers who stormed the residence blocked journalists from taking photographs. Inside the home, officers found the housewife, who was immediately detained to assist with investigations. It is alleged that the victim’s body had been removed from the scene before police arrived.
